This Year Is 2023 - The Time To Elevate Value

On New Years Day, I had a minor mental bout grasping and trying to compute number 23 in my awareness. This took a few days to get through it. I think about that year number with car models in the late summer, cinnamon bottles printed with expirations dates by 2025. The numbers are becoming greater each time a new January arrives.

What Do I Think From What I Hear?

This month, I spent some drive time listening to maybe 3 people I admire and follow on their podcasts. Also, I have been hearing many in the news channels in the realms of Yahoo Finance and Bloomberg. I do get e-mail on others in this same group saying the same words. They tell their story about a rough going 2023 in the markets. Some sour words in the technology markets and the labor markets. Continued layoffs and others sitting on the sideline and waiting. After all of that chatter, I am not going to worry about it. I say, let's get busy and roll the bones.

Opportunities Over Obstacles

I have weighed all of the data and getting back to those I admire. They say that awesome companies were started in a recession and they are the winners of their times and still stand today. It seems that whomever your competition is, if you take action and they don’t, you have the advantage. They say this, “Don’t sit still, go do something great with your talent. Turn off the negative news and negative people around you. Just get to work!” The year 2023 should continue with our own passions and aspirations. A very good friend always said. “You have to capitalize one your own value and skills.”

Little Steps Each Day Will Compound Greatly

I am damn sure that their is a place for everyone to do well. Just plan, execute, measure, adjust and do it again tomorrow each day. Network with your interest and market ideas on hand. Take your willpower and go make it happen!
